Bio

I was born around midnight in a 1964 Chevy Impala on highway 99. As a child I struggled through sound sensitivity and near deafness. Music gave me an anchor in the storm so I was hooked at a very young age.

I was attracted to visual things for probably most of the same reasons. One of my earliest memories is traveling in the back of a station wagon on highway 101 along the coast of the Pacific. Big picture windows surrounded me as a breathtaking world of water and forest passed before my very eyes.

Because of these things I was drawn like a magnet to the television set. Naturally with so much television I began searching for my name in the end scroll of the film credits. Then came the dreams of working in film.

I derive satisfaction from editing because of those experiences in my childhood. I have always been inspired by storytellers and I can watch the same movie many times and still be totally engrossed. I like working with people who like people or at least that do not hate me.
